My friend, Danny Moreno

Let me introduce my awesome friend, Danny Moreno.

Yeah. I miss you.

Danny, who is from Colombia, is my awesome friend. She was in Canada last year for 6 months, but she went back to Colombia in the end of January. She lived in same house with me and I had lots of fun with her. She is one of the best people in my life. We always think in same way and we are just happy whatever we do, which means we are good friends. She was the only one who is the most comfortable to talk with in English and that is why I talked to her the most and a lot! I miss her so much.

I don't even remember all what we did while Danny was here.
So, I'm going to just put random pictures of us here.
Not all of them just few..

With Danny in Vancouver

One of our memories is the Vancouver trip in fall.
However....
Danny left her camera at home, so I let her take some pictures with my camera (most of them are blurred).
That wasn't that bad, but.. she had no idea about her wallet...
Heck yeah.. That's Danny..She usually forgets her stuff what she needs every times.
Anyhow, We had so much fun there.

=
She looks like Papa Smurf. That was Christmas morning and we had eggs benedict, which is our favorite

We did it. It was the first snowman for Danny.
She had never seen snow before she came here.

We love chicken wings with honey garlic sauce.

These are the last pictures of me and Danny in January.
I don't think these are the last pictures of us in my life.
We will hang out in Colombia or Korea someday at least before I die.

What am I doing in C-A-N-A-D-A?

When I went downtown to swim with my friends this morning, I realized something is going on downtown. It was winter carnival, which was almost over when I got there. I've seen it last February when I just arrived Canada last year. Yea.. it's been a year to be in Canada which means I've been here for not that short or long time. So..what have I done so far? what the heck am I doing here?

Some people in the world including most of Canadian just "speak" English as their native language. Unfortunately, I'm not one of them. I was born in South Korea and I grew up there during the whole my life time. Many people in Asia learn English and most of them spend lots of time and money to learn English. I am just one of them. I think this is quiet unfair. I'm pretty sure none of you guys don't even think about this. YOU GUYS ARE LUCKY!! You just speak your language, which is the universal language of the world, and people whose first language is not English try to read it, to write it, and to listen and speak it!

Actually, most of those people can read and write it. Well..This is just because they start to learn it early and they try hard. However, one of the problems of learning English in their mother country is speaking part of English. They fear to speak. I know It's hard to understand for whom never felt this. This is because, they don't learn how to apply whatever they know to real world. And this is one of my reasons why I came here.

I know that I should try hard and I'm pretty sure that I've learned not only English but also great and small indispensable things in life. This life is interesting but not that always fun. I'm going to talk about it later.
